Mónica A. Cerpa Zúñiga

Mónica A. Cerpa Zúñiga (INEZ) she/her - was born in Lima, Peru, and has called Cleveland home since 1996. A member of Teatro Público de Cleveland (TPC) since 2014, she has appeared in numerous productions, including ALTER (2024), Obras en Evolución (2025), and The Exit Door (2026), as well as A Xmas Cuento Remix, Uz, El Pueblo, Mi Nombre Es, Doña Carmella, A Recipe para la Vida, and several editions of ¡Obras en Evolución! and Pandemonium. Beyond acting, Mónica has directed new works, served as Associate Director and Assistant Stage Manager, and chaired TPC's Leadership Committee through 2024. Outside the theater, Mónica is the Bilingual Outreach and Education Coordinator at NAMI Greater Cleveland, where she works to expand mental health education and support within the Latino community. She also serves as President of PERUCAN-OH, the Peruvian Cultural Association of Northeast Ohio. She is passionate about using the arts to celebrate culture, strengthen community, and promote mental health awareness.
