Planned Giving

Naming Dobama Theatre as a full or partial beneficiary in your will, life-insurance, or retirement plan allows you to continue your support of the arts even after your final bow. This type of charitable gift can be transformative to Dobama providing funds for large projects and investments that ensure the longevity of the institution.

If you wish to include Dobama Theatre in your will, please call the Dobama Administrative offices at (216) 932-6838. We will connect you with our Director of Advancement or other team member about contributions to Dobama’s Legacy Fund.

  • GIVE FROM YOUR IRA (QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION)

    If you are 72½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Dobama Theatre. You can give up to $100,000 annually that counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and you pay no income tax on the amount transferred.

    1. Request a “change of beneficiary” form from your plan administrator.
