P.K. Kaya

P.K. Kaya - DRAMATURG (pronouns: they/it) is an educator, dramaturg, writer, and graduate of the University of Oklahoma dramaturgy program. Raised in Kingfisher, OK, they are passionate about queer advocacy, experimental poetry, linguistic justice, rural arts, and the power of the written word to enact incredible, revolutionary change. Their work, whether on the page or through the stage, emphasizes the strength of human compassion, endurance, heart, and collaboration. Previous project highlights include Why This Gay Now?: A Queer Charity Showcase (Independent Festival), The Collective Arts Puppet Circus (Co.Arts Productions), Lascaux (Co.Arts Productions), WAX (Oklahoma Theatre Fringe), Marie Antoinette (University of Oklahoma Theatre), and Life is a Dream (University of Oklahoma Theatre), and their current work as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Luxembourg.
