Erik T. Lawson

EErik T. Lawson (Sound Design and Original Music) is a sound designer and composer based in the New York area. Recent designs include The Effect (Barrow Street Theatre), Church and State, Stalking the Bogeyman (New World Stages), Sotto Voce (Theatre for the New City, Asolo Repertory Theatre), Tsunami (Miami Cultural Arts Center), Marjorie Prime (Dobama), Buried Child (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), and On The Other Side of the River (HERE). Additional design credits include productions at Miami Dade County Auditorium, Brown - Trinity Rep. Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre, Luna Stage, Shakespeare & Company, Premiere Stages, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Lincoln Center Director’s Lab alumnus, received the 2013 Robert E. Cohen Sound Design Award, and is currently the Assistant Professor of Sound Design at University of Connecticut.
