Jill Davis

Jill Davis (SET DESIGN) is an Associate Professor and Resident Scenic and Lighting Designer at Case Western Reserve University.  For Dobama Theater she has designed the sets for Hurricane Diane, The Flick, The Mystery of Love and Sex, Belleville, Time Stands Still and Grizzly Mama  Some favorite set designs for CWRU include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Betty the Yeti, The Learned Ladies and The Addams Family.  She has designed many sets for The Case-Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Ensemble including Clybourne Park, Too True to Be Good, Identity Theft, Present Laughter and An Orchard. Other professional set design credits include Chez Feydeau for The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and A Doll’s House for The American Stage Theater Company in St. Petersburg, Florida.  As the Charge Scenic Artist at the Cleveland Play House 2001-2011, she was in charge of painting the sets for over 100 productions.
