Seating

RESERVED SEATING

Seating is assigned for all mainstage performances (excluding Preview and Pay-As-You-Can performances). You may book your tickets online and choose your seats via the seating plan provided. Dobama Theatre will make accommodations for those patrons with special needs. Dobama also reserves the first two rows of seats for members up to one week before the selected performance. The house opens 30 minutes before curtain.

Special Needs

Dobama is an ADA-compliant facility with wheelchair accessibility.

Handicapped accommodations are available.  If you require wheelchair accommodations, please notify the Box Office at time of ticket purchase.  Optimum seating for patrons in wheelchairs may be arranged with prior notice. One companion seat may be reserved per wheelchair request.

Wheelchair locations are limited and reserved on a first-purchase basis directly from the Box Office. Wheelchair reservations are not available through internet purchase at this time.

If you require handicapped accommodations, it is strongly advised that you purchase tickets before the date of performance.

Assisted Listening Systems are available at coat check. It is strongly recommended that you reserve ALS devices through the Box Office when purchasing tickets. This service is free. Patrons simply need to leave an I.D., driver's license, or credit card with the coat check usher. This item will be returned when turning in the ALS device after the performance.

Concessions

Concessions are sold 30-45 minutes before the show and during intermission. Concessions available include candy, snacks, coffee, and bottled water. We also sell wine, beer, and mixed drinks. Great Lakes Brewing Company is the official brewery of Dobama Theatre, and CLE Urban Winery is our official winery.

Policies

All ticket sales are final

Dobama Theatre has a no refund policy. Cancellations of prepaid tickets may be transferred to any future performance in the current season based on availability.

Late Arrivals

If you are unavoidably delayed, you will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager where seating is available. For the safety of the actors and the audience, many productions have no late seating. We suggest patrons arrive at Dobama Theatre at least twenty minutes before curtain time if you have already purchased tickets.  Please allow additional time if you are purchasing tickets at the door. Box Office opens one hour prior to curtain. For the safety of our audience and actors, patrons that exit the theatre during a performance may not be allowed reentry while the performance is going on.

Electronics

Cell Phones, Pagers, and other noise-making or light-emitting devices must be turned off for the entire performance. Please do not access your phone, send or read text messages during a performance.  The light from the cell phone screen is distracting to both performers and other patrons.

Cameras and Recording Devices

Cameras and Recording Devices are strictly prohibited in the theatre.  Patrons who violate this rule will be asked to surrender their equipment to an usher until after the show.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located at the Box Office.  Please report any misplaced items, lost or found, immediately. Items left for over six months will be donated to a local charity.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside Dobama Theatre or the Cleveland Heights/University Heights Library.  Smoking is permitted outdoors a minimum of ten feet from the entry.
