Logan Williams

Logan Dior Williams (DEVINE) is 8 years old. She has been performing since the age of 3 years old. Logan has become quite a local sensation in Cleveland, performing at various events around the city. Such as, Djapo’s Drum and Dance Juneteenth Programs, Shameless Studio’s 2016 Dance Showcase, quarterly performances at Rainey Institute, Artistic Rebel’s Battle & Dance Cypher’s. Logan has participated in a master class for Camille Brown’s “Black Girl, A Linguistic Play”, a regular performer for the Black Studies Department at Cleveland State University, and just recently featured in several videos for the new local rap group “Turn Up Kids”. By the age of 5, she was a regular participant/student at Karamu House. Logan is trained in Tap dance, African dance (modern & traditional), jazz, hip hop, and street dance. She is a Jr. Scream Team Member for the Cleveland Cavaliers, a member of “I AM DANCE LLC” intensive dance camp, an awesome student/actor with “Paramore Pre Professional Acting Academy”, a vocal student at The Cleveland Music Settlement and not to mention a “Bus Stop Kid” for Channel 3 WKYC. Logan is also a Junior Afro Zumba Instructor for “Afro Vibes Line Dance Association”, where she also performs at various birthdays, weddings, and special events. She was recently featured in plays “What If” and “Tomorrow’s Dance” at Cleveland’s City Hall Rotunda in 2016, for the Women’s History Month Celebration where she played Martin Luther King’s youngest daughter, Bernice, and a loving granddaughter that was trying to uplift her grandfather. Logan was also featured in a 2015 Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival (GCUFF) commercial, which aired before every screening of each movie. Currently to date, she was featured in a Cleveland Indians/Taco Bell commercial and featured in a film, “Cinderella Jones” for the 48 Hour Film Project which she was nominated for Best Lead Actress out of 60 films. The greatest accomplishment to date with Logan will be the filming of a Netflix Original Movie, where she will be featured as a child at a birthday party. Summer of 2017 Logan will be attending “Cabaret Camp” in New York at “Class Act New York” inside of the famous “Pearl Studios”. This camp is an intensive one week focus and study on musical theater. There she will have the opportunity to learn and train with actors, playwrights, musical directors, and Broadway producers. At the end of the week she will be given the opportunity to perform in an off Broadway production. She is an avid prayer warrior, an advocate for homelessness, equal rights, and safety for children. She enjoys riding her bike, going to the movies, traveling, attending church, and spending time with her friends. She aspires to become a teacher, minister, gymnast, community activist, as well as a worldwide performer. With all her interests and accolades, Logan continues to be an Honor Roll student with Perfect Attendance at CMSD’s Dike School of the Arts.
