Rocky Encalada

Rocky Encalada – (TIRTZA) is thrilled to make her Dobama debut after working behind the scenes of many Dobama productions.  She is an actor, director, designer, coach, and photographer who hails from Miami, FL, and now calls NE Ohio home.  Her local stage credits include Rhinoceros (convergence-continuum), Lear (Rubber City Shakespeare), I Call My Brothers (Cleveland Public Theatre), Top Girls, The Woman Hater, and A Streetcar Named Desire (Mamai Theatre), Bye Bye Birdie (Porthouse Theatre), Sweeney Todd (Geauga Lyric Theatre),  and Well Beings (World Premiere at Tri-C).  She holds degrees in both Theatre Performance and Technical Theatre & Design from Florida Southern College, as well as an MFA in Acting from Kent State University.  Before moving to Ohio, she served as the Artistic/Managing Director of Studio 305 Black Box in Lakeland, FL.  Love to Eric for always letting her follow her passions.
