Working at Dobama

Are you ready to collaborate with Dobama? See information below about our Volunteer, Audition, and General Employment opportunities.

The Clean House Standards

Dobama Theatre is a CLEAN HOUSE THEATRE. This means we are committed to being a space free of harassment based on sex, gender, race, religion, class, ethnicity, nationality, political belief, or ability. We are committed to being a safe environment that fully allows us to challenge ourselves, our audiences, and our communities; that supports creative risks of mind and body; and that establishes the freedom to create theatre that represents the full range of human experience.

The CLEAN HOUSE STANDARDS are one important tool that guides Dobama Theatre’s work in caring for the whole person and fully supporting Dobama artists, staff, technicians, volunteers, and supporters.

Volunteer

Want to help us spread some magic?

Dobama depends on our volunteers at each performance to set the stage for patrons to have a great experience from the moment they enter our lobby until curtain call.

We are looking for individuals to maintain a positive attitude with patrons, fellow volunteers, and staff. Volunteers should exhibit professional work habits including arriving on time for shifts, adhering to Dobama policies and following supervisor instructions .

Most volunteers primarily serve as ushers for performances, however, there are other ways they provide behind-the-scenes support in our education programs, marketing, development and occasional volunteer support for our fundraisers or special events. If you have skills that you would like to contribute, we’d love to hear about them.

Please fill out the
volunteer interest form.
