I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document given To Me By a Young Lady From Rwanda
January 11 - February 1, 2008

A touching and heartfelt journey shared by a young survivor of the Rwanda massacre and a burned out English poet who meet at a London Refugee Center. Porofoundly moving, surprisingly humorous and ultimately uplifting!

Colder Than Here
February 28 - March 23 , 2008

When Myra learns that she has terminal cancer she responds in her normal take charge manner, organizing her funeral in a Power-Point presentation. Myra's husband, Alec, retreats to his malfunctioning boiler leaving Myra's adult daugthers to cope with cemetery picnics and biodegradable coffins. A hilarious and powerful story of a fractured family learning to open doors to each other.

30th Annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids' Playwriting Festival
June 12 - 15, 2008

This is the 30th year of our Festival, the nation's first event of its kind. It will encourage and reward the creative expression of hundreds of area students in grades 1 through 12. The name of our Festival honors the work and memory of Marilyn Bianchi who co-founded Dobama Theatre in 1959.
