Robert Ellis

Robert Ellis* (ALF) Bob is very excited to return to the Dobama Stage where he was seen in The Norwegians, Circle, Mirror, Transformation and The Late Henry Moss.  Bob has appeared at the Cleveland Play House in Little Foxes, A Carol for Cleveland, Daphne’s Dive, The Life of Galileo and A Soldier’s Tale with Catch and Release. Other area acting credits include God of Carnage at None Too Fragile, House of Blue Leaves, Beck Center, Stone Cold Dead Serious, Cleveland Public Theatre; Of Mice and Men and Dog Eat Dog, Ensemble Theatre; and Annie Get Your Gun, The Foreigner, The Art of Dining, Inherit the Wind, and The Learned Ladies, Porthouse Theatre. Regional credits include The Illusion, Hippodrome State Theatre and Harvey, Oldcastle Theatre Company.  Ellis is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA with numerous film, commercial, and industry credits.  Ellis is a professor at Cuyahoga Community College and he is Ohio State chair and selection committee member for Region 3 of The Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Festival. He is also a founding member of Something Dada, Cleveland's longest running improvisational theatre company.
